Ascendo ad Patrem [I ascend to my Father] (John 20:17; 15:26; 16:22; 14:16) – Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina

Jesus represented as telling Mary not to touch him, by Hans Holbein the Younger.

John 20:17; 15:26; 16:22; 14:16 [Latin]

17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.

26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:

22 And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.

16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
